Our Natural World exhibition is a Tuggerah Lakes Art Society collaboration being held at The Art House, Wyong throughout August to highlight the environment’s importance through art and related activities.
With support from the Lions Club of Wyoming-East Gosford, The Crud Muffins will be facilitating the creation of a collaborative artwork titled ‘Safe Cat, Safe Wildlife’ to be donated to and installed at the Walkabout Wildlife Park for use as an eye-catching educational resource which also brightens the sanctuary grounds.
With around 46% of Australia’s endangered wildlife found living alongside us in towns and cities, we hope that the creation of our colourful collaborative community artwork will help celebrate our unique wildlife and educate the public on how keeping your cats safe at home can help protect feline friends from harm whilst also ensuring our precious native wildlife flourish!
Our sessions throughout the day (which include educational resources and guidance from practicing local artists and art educators) are free to schools, home-schoolers, and interested community groups keen to get involved in this mural-scale painting.
Space is limited so bookings are essential! Email secretary@tlas.org.au or phone 0458 787 068.
